artist's statement ...
Time fleets. A moment comes and then is forever gone, except for the place it holds in our memories. My memories are as the mortar of bricks, binding together all of life's experiences and thereof lessons learned. They hold the heart, the essence of who I am and of whom I shall be in years to come.
Photographs give rise to our memories, supporting and sustaining them. The two are like old friends embracing each other through the journey of life, recording the present and becoming the past.
My interest in photography began in the early 1970's. It is an art form that my Heavenly Father has allowed me to pursue and one in which I find great joy. Viewing the world around us through the lens of a camera, makes us look at our world in detail and take note of much that usually goes unnoticed. Photography allows us to achieve a deeper appreciation of God's creation.
Technological advances in photographic equipment and software, constantly presented to the photographic community, provide evermore powerful and creative tools for photographers. The opportunity to learn and grow as a photographer and artist is limitless. One's own desire, ambition, and imagination determine the limitations placed upon his or her creative enterprise.
I hope you enjoy viewing my photographs, and thank you for visiting my web site.
